We are incredibly proud to support the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (MIFGS) 2024 by Scotts, an event that was a mesmerising celebration of colours, fragrances and industry-leading design. This years’ event was more vibrant and enchanting than ever, featuring breathtaking floral displays, innovative garden designs, and inspiring horticultural exhibitions.
The largest show of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, MIFGS provides the opportunity showcase innovative design and sustainable horticultural practices. Supporting this great event allows us to highlight our commitment to the industry, community engagement, and continued excellence.
To celebrate the five day show, we hit the ground running with our spectacular VIP twilight launch event, hosted by Matt Nash from Prestige Surfaces®. And it wouldn’t be a Prestige Surfaces® even with some pink…

The event was hosted in “The Welcome Garden” by Jason Hodges who boasts over 30 years’ experience in landscape design and construction. Jason’s garden was a take on the modern Australian backyard with a focus on simplicity – a sanctuary.
The evening began by welcoming guests through the garden show, and many award winning gardens, and finished off at the relaxing Welcome Garden, where guests were dazzled with the glow of pontoon lights, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and captivating entertainment by the ‘String Sisters’, consisting of members: Suzannah Violin, Samantha Abela Violin, Florence Cappler-Shillington and Jessica Nichols.
We were also joined by renowned landscape designers and builders who shared their insights on the significance of the MIFGS 2024 event. They spoke passionately about what the events means to the them emphasised the importance of supporting the show to celebrate and preserve our natural environments. Their talks highlighted the creativity, dedication, and environmental consciousness that drive the industry, making it clear why the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show is a vital celebration for all garden enthusiasts.
This unforgettable kickoff set the stage for an incredible show filled with beauty and inspiration.
